Bring real-work experience to your lessons
The Engineering@work Student Book is ideal for candidates studying the current specification BTEC First in Engineering (2007).

Engineering@work – DVD Resource Pack contains filmed case studies of ALL the companies, company products and services featured in the Case Studies Book. This Pack supports BTEC Firsts in Engineering as well as other Engineering courses.

The pack:

  • Opens students' minds to the real and diverse world of engineering with filmed case studies, company products and services
  • Introduces learners to real engineer across a range of disciplines and with various levels of responisibility
  • Provides learners with a context for the product or service
  • Gives learners an understanding of a product's or service's function through seeing and listening to an explanation of how it works
  • Contains activities that link to specific sections of the case studies, (for example, researching the properties of specific materials) and encourage learner's individual research skills, using both written forms and internet search engines.
