This update contains information on the proposed next-generation BTECs in Engineering. There are also details about a new qualification added to the suite of level 3 BTECs in Engineering, a 90-credit Diploma which represents half of the Extended Diploma. Edexcel is introducing a new procedure, as part of the BTEC quality assurance process, called Grade Review - so I've also included some news about this. Finally, there are one or two links to releases on the web which may be interesting to engineering staff and students.
