WorkSkills | Level 3 WorkSkills Plus
Give your learners an edge in difficult times 

Following exceptionally high uptake of the WorkSkills qualification (Entry 3 to Level 2) in schools and colleges last year, we’re pleased to announce the completion of the suite with WorkSkills Plus (Level 3). 

WorkSkills Plus shows learners how to relate their personal skill-set to potential employment scenarios at every stage, so they understand what an employer is looking for, and how to supply it. In addition, units such as ‘Managing a Work/Life Balance’ and ‘Skills for a Portfolio Career’ help learners to consider how life choices and lifestyle will affect their future.
 

WorkSkills Plus is the ultimate motivator

Throughout the academic year WorkSkills Plus learners accumulate credits for the units they take, so they can build on their successes. On completion learners could have:

  • a highly relevant BTEC qualification that fulfils their AS level requirement
  • the ability to relate their skills directly to the world of work.

WorkSkills Plus rewards your learners for skills acquired during work placement and PSHCE.

So how could WorkSkills Plus fit into your timetable? The answer is ‘easily’ because it’s so flexible. Delivery and assessment of some unit content can take place during timetabled PSHCE lessons, and act as preparation for and formal review of work placement.
