WorkSkills | Level 1

A total of 32 units are available at Level 1 across the four skills pathways: Personal Life Skills, Sustainable Employability Skills, Work Placement Skills and Skills for Business. Level 1 qualifications can gain GCSE equivalence at Grades D to G. Learners can gain the following qualifications at Level 1:

  • BTEC Award in WorkSkills (Level 1) - 3 credits
  • BTEC Certificate in WorkSkills (Level 1) - 13 credits
  • BTEC Extended Certificate in WorkSkills (Level 1) - 18 credits

  • BTEC Diploma in WorkSkills (Level 1) - 37 credits

Intention to offer - Form

There are currently two live specifications for WorkSkills – the 2008 specification and the 2011 specification. These specifications are running in parallel until 31 August 2012, after which we recommend you use the 2011 specification. Both specifications are available for download below.
