We are delighted to announce a unique programme that helps teachers and lecturers teach their students the skills, attitudes and behaviours they need to secure and sustain employment. This exciting new partnership between Deloitte and Pearson brings together Deloitte’s expert knowledge of the skills valued by employers with Pearson’s experience in delivering qualifications and training. 

Deloitte is one of the UK’s largest professional services companies specialising in providing audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk management and tax services to selected clients. They have been offering their Employability Initiative since 2001 and to date have trained over 600 tutors from over 150 FE colleges to deliver employability skills, with over 24,000 students subsequently completing the qualification.

The Deloitte Employability Initiative consists of two key components:

1) Deloitte Employability course: A comprehensive 2.5-day training programme, designed by Deloitte to train lecturers and teachers in the teaching and learning techniques required to successfully deliver employability skills to their students. The training programme also includes two online learning sessions and a set of free delivery support materials.
