SE-ed have created a comprehensive list of resources with a guidance comment on them.

Eco-Schools
Eco-Schools provides a framework and guidelines for schools wishing to embark upon sustainable projects.

Engauge
This qualification has been developed with help from West Sussex’s engauge programme which now runs as a stand alone operation. Schools can assess their performance using the ‘Susgauge’ to identify their performance across eight sustainability areas.

Nationwide Education
These high quality resources are designed to be stimulating and engaging whilst providing key information, guidance and useful tips.

Learning outside the classroom
This website provides regularly updated articles and guidance for schools on wishing to provide a fulfilling experience for learners outside the classroom.

Action Aid
ActionAid has a range of curriculum-linked resources for schools that help raise awareness of climate change and the lives of young people in poor countries around the world.

Generation Green
Part of British Gas’ long term programme for rewarding teachers who promote sustainability in the classroom, this site offers resources such as lesson and assembly plans.

Big Green Switch
This website from Northcliffe Media provides a carbon footprint calculator, plus factual information on climate change.

Energy Savings Trust
The Energy Saving Trust provides free and impartial advice and video content on how to stop wasting energy.

Young Energy People
This project helps teach 14-18 year olds about practical energy management skills.

Participate Schools
Participate is a large-scale cross-school data collection project backed by BBC, BT and Universities, which explores how new and emerging technologies can be used to encourage people to engage in environmental issues. Resources on the site help schools start on a Participate project which includes making a 60 second movie and an online poster.

Tide Global Learning
This teacher-oriented network offers CPD and cross-school opportunities for sustainable projects.
