These assessment materials are available only to staff from centres currently running the GCSE English pilot with Edexcel.

Following Ofqual's agreement that candidates who fail the winter 1B assessment should be allowed to re-sit using the same texts in the summer, the 1B reading materials will remain the same across the academic year.
