Edexcel’s GCE O level in History (syllabus B: European 7262) aims to develop candidates’ knowledge and understanding of developments in a particular period or aspect of history, and to provide them with an introduction to historical skills and methods. The course focuses on the history of continental Europe west of the Urals, and also deals with the colonial rivalries between the major European powers.
