Edexcel’s GCE O level Islamiyat syllabus is designed to enable learners to study the basic tenets of the Muslim religion, and in particular to learn more about the specific areas apposite to the approach of their own religious grouping, sect or school of thought. Learning will be focused on enhancing students’ acquaintance with the Muslim religion by referring them to its traditions, laws, writings and practices.
