Edexcel’s Supply Chain Management NVQs are aimed at individuals working in supply chain roles in businesses and organisations. The awards are useful in all sectors and are at Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Level 5 is for strategic managers; level 4 is for middle managers; and levels 2 and 3 are suitable for supervising managers. Possession of a level 3 and/or level 4 Supply Chain Management NVQ provides access to membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, the professional body for people working in supply chain roles.

To ensure the uninterrupted availability of the Supply Chain Management NVQs for those employers and organisations willing to pay for a stand-alone qualification, we have extended these Edexcel qualifications to 31 August 2016. There will be a QCF replacement qualification operational from 1 April 2012 which will sit on the new SASE Apprenticeship Framework.
