The MOD Royal Marines is the Standards Setting Body responsible for the development of  the level 2 NVQ in Public Services. A generic qualification, this is particularly relevant for those individuals working in, or seeking work in, the uniformed public sector, including affiliated services. They may be employed in the Army, Royal Air Force or the Police. Assessors and Internal Verifiers involved in this programme will need to be occupationally competent within their sector and have recent operational experience.
