The Managers in Residential Childcare NVQ is at level 4 and is aimed at individuals working in establishments providing residential care of children; for example, as house parents, managers of children’s homes or managers of residential schools.

Please note: for new learners (since August 2008), this qualification has now been replaced by the new NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management for Care Services. Candidates registered on the existing qualification can complete their programme without the need to transfer to the new qualification.
