The NVQs in Learning, Development and Support Services are at levels 3 and 4 and are aimed at individuals working with young people in schools and colleges; for example, as mentors, personal assistants or education welfare officers.

People who have gained these qualifications could go on on to become social workers or managers of careers offices.
