Edexcel’s Language NVQs, available at levels 1, 2 and 3, are aimed at individuals who might wish to use a foreign language in their daily work, because their job takes them abroad or brings them into contact with other nationalities here in the UK. They may, for example, work in hotels, hospitality and catering, travel and tourism, international sales, the diplomatic service, social work, or as airline cabin crew. 

Flexibility is a key feature of Language NVQs; tutors can tailor assignments to their students' vocational areas, and the different skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) are all separately assessed.
