The level 2 NVQ in Environmental Conservation has three distinct pathways catering for a wide range of employment roles.

The Environmental Conservation pathway is most suitable for individuals working in or seeking to gain employment in conservation, wildlife management and the associated voluntary sectors.

Those undertaking roles associated with flood prevention and waterway maintenance will be likely to choose the Rivers, Coasts and Waterways pathway.

Finally, the Community Recycling pathway is a basic recycling/waste management qualification suitable for a wide range of employment.

The equivalent level 3 NVQ in Environmental Conservation is applicable to all the above environmental situations, but there are no endorsed pathways.
