Please see below for the new QCF-accredited specifications. We have worked closely with Government Skills, the Sector Skills Body, throughout the development of these specifications, to ensure that they fit all of the latest National Occupational Standards (NOS) and meet the needs of employers and individual learners.

The Edexcel Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Public Services — Operational Delivery (Uniformed), is intended for those in the Army, Royal Airforce and Royal Navy. It is a recognised component in the BTEC Apprenticeship in Public Services (Armed Services).  This qualification was updated with effect from 1 March 2013 with the following changes:

The following 2 former mandatory units are now optional and have been moved into Optional Group B:

• T/601/3115 Participate in Combat Operations Preparation
• F/601/2761 Participate in Adventurous Activities

In addition, the following new optional unit has also been added to Optional Group B:

• H/504/4396 Preparation for Maritime Operations

The credit value of the new qualification has been reduced from 54 to 50 credits.

These changes have been made at the request of HM Forces and in consultation with Skills for Justice, in order to allow greater flexibility for the learner.

Edexcel Level 2 Certificate / Diploma in Public Services – Operational Delivery (Debt Management) (QCF) have been designed for junior administrators working in Government Departments and Agencies, and offer opportunities for progression to many areas within the civil service.
