Sport and exercise scientists have a growing presence in the world of sport. The core elements of anatomy, physiology, psychology and biomechanics are seen in almost every aspect of, and activity within, the sport sector. The BTEC Level 3 National Award, Certificate and Diploma in Sport and Exercise Sciences provide a springboard to a university degree or Foundation Degree in an appropriate vocational discipline, to BTEC HNCs and HNDs, or to employment.

The BTEC Nationals in Sport and Exercise Sciences were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 3 Certificate, Subsidiary Diploma, Diploma and Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise Sciences from September 2010. Find out more
