Machinery is increasingly used to manage the production and other requirements of land-based industries. The BTEC Level 3 National Award, Certificate and Diploma in Land-based Technology are designed to provide training and education for those who are employed in 4WD vehicle operations, maintenance work, harvesting, ground care, cultivation, planting equipment operation and related aspects.

The BTEC Nationals in Land-based Technology were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 3 Certificate, Subsidiary Diploma, Diploma and Extended Diploma in Land-based Technology from September 2010. Find out more
