Horse management encompasses a variety of roles in riding establishments, studs, livery yards and stables as well as retailing, wholesaling, research and education. The BTEC Level 3 National Award, Certificate and Diploma in Horse Management are designed to provide a springboard to a university degree or Foundation Degree in an appropriate vocational discipline, to BTEC HNCs and HNDs, or to employment.

The BTEC Nationals in Horse Management were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 3 Certificate, Subsidiary Diploma, Diploma and Extended Diploma in Horse Management from September 2010. Find out more
