There is a diversity of land-based roles within the scope of countryside management. Areas include countryside and game management, education, research and tourism. Students completing the BTEC Level 3 National Award, Certificate and Diploma in Countryside Management can progress to a university degree or Foundation Degree in an appropriate vocational discipline, to BTEC HNCs and HNDs, or to employment. 

The BTEC Nationals in Countryside Management were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 3 Certificate, Subsidiary Diploma, Diploma and Extended Diploma in Countryside Management from September 2010. Find out more
