The hairdressing industry is dynamic and thriving, and offers a wealth of opportunities in salons, studios and barber’s shops - whether in specialist areas such as cutting, styling, perming or colouring, or broader areas such as marketing or management. The BTEC Level 3 National Award and Certificate in Hairdressing can provide a springboard to a university degree or Foundation Degree in an appropriate vocational discipline, to BTEC HNCs and HNDs, or to employment.
