The beauty industry is dynamic and constantly changing. Recent years have seen a significant expansion in outlets offering nail services, spas, aromatherapy and massage, creating a wealth of opportunities in this thriving industry. The BTEC Level 3 National Award, Certificate and Diploma in Beauty Therapy Sciences are designed to provide a springboard to a university degree in an appropriate vocational discipline, or - for those working in the sector - to BTEC Higher National qualifications (HNCs and HNDs) or Foundation Degrees, or to employment. 

The BTEC Nationals in Beauty Therapy Sciences were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Beauty Therapy Techniques and Diplomas in Beauty Therapy from January 2011. Find out more
