The BTEC Level 3 National Award and Diploma in Dental Technology offer the opportunity to specialise in all areas of dental technology, establishing a real grounding in the associated sciences and dental techniques. They provide the opportunity to advance to higher education qualifications at dental school or to a university degree in an associated discipline, or - for those in dental technologist employment - to progress through continuing professional development.

The BTEC Nationals in Dental Technology were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma and Extended Diploma in Dental Technology from September 2010. Find out more
