This notice applies to the following qualifications:
- BTEC Level 2 First IT (previously IT Practitioner)
- BTEC Level 3 National IT (previously IT Practitioner)
- BTEC Level 2 First Health and Social Care
- BTEC Level 3 National Health and Social Care
- BTEC Level 2 First Hospitality
- BTEC Level 3 National Hospitality
- BTEC Level 2 First Travel and Tourism
- BTEC Level 3 National Travel and Tourism
As you know, we gave you a choice to register or top-up 14-19 learners onto either the new BTEC Firsts/Nationals in IT (QCF) 2010 or the legacy BTEC Firsts/Nationals for IT Practitioners (NQF) qualifications.
This announcement is to remind you that:
1. After 31 December 2010 you can only register or top-up learners onto the new BTEC Firsts/Nationals in IT (QCF) 2010 and not the legacy BTEC IT Practitioners (NQF) qualifications.
2. The last certification date for:
- the BTEC Firsts for ICT Practitioners (NQF) is 31 December 2012, and
- the BTEC Nationals for IT Practitioners (NQF) is 31 December 2013.
