The industry offers a wide range of career opportunities, including networking, software development, project management, programming and telematics. Students completing the BTEC Level 3 National Award, Certificates and Diplomas for IT Practitioners can progress to a university degree or Foundation Degree, to BTEC HNCs and HNDs, or to employment.

The BTEC Nationals for IT Practitioners were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 3 Certificate, Subsidiary Diploma, Diplomas and Extended Diplomas in IT from September 2010. Find out more
