Within the scope of the BTEC Level 3 National Certificate and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, there is a range of specialist units to complement the needs of local industry and individuals’ skill sets. Openings exist for well-trained, experienced people in a range of industrial contexts, both in Europe and internationally. These qualifications provide a springboard to an HND/HNC or university degree in an appropriate vocational discipline or - for those working in the sector – directly into employment.

The BTEC Nationals in Mechanical Engineering were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from September 2010. Find out more
