Edexcel’s resources for the 2009 International GCSE in Mathematics (Specification A)
-
Contains practice throughout, with revision sections, practice questions, extended investigations and practice books.
-
Includes a free ActiveBook CD-ROM, containing a digital version of the Student Book, plus e-tutorials with worked solutions and past paper questions.
-
This Student Book can also be used to teach the Foundation Tier. The exercises are carefully tiered and graded in their structure, so that the starred exercises are designed towards the top grades, whilst the non-starred exercises are for the Foundation pupils aiming for the maximum of a C grade. All the exercises have paired questions, so that odd numbers can be used for practice with access to the answers on the ActiveBook CD, whilst even numbers can be used as test or homework challenges for assessment by teachers.
-
Full answers to the Student Book questions are available to teachers and parents by emailing customersolutions@pearson.com (for UK teachers and parents) or icsorders@pearson.com (for all other teachers and parents).
