IGCSE English Language A and IGCSE English Literature update meeting summer 2011

The presentation used in the summer 2011 update meeting in London is available here. This meeting outlined the revisions to the two qualifications that affect assessments from June 2012 onwards. FREE Getting Ready to Teach

These half day events are designed for teachers starting the Edexcel International GCSE in English Language and the Certificate L1/L2 in English Language specifications for first teaching from September 2012.

Delegates will:

• receive an overview of the structure and content of the qualification
• gain insight into the potential teaching and delivery  strategies applicable to the new specification                     
• receive guidance on good practice in the teaching of the qualification
• look at example assessment materials                    
• address frequently asked questions.

Each event can count as 2.5 hours of CPD
