International GCSE from 2003 | Science (Double Award)
This page is for reference only, as the legacy International GCSE from 2003 specification is no longer suitable for teaching. It has been replaced by our updated International GCSE from 2009 specification.

The Edexcel International GCSE in Double Award Science is designed as a two-year course of study. It takes approximately two-thirds of the subject content of each of the Edexcel International GCSE single sciences (Biology 4325, Chemistry 4335 and Physics 4420), and combines them into an International GCSE Science specification worth two International GCSEs. International GCSE Science is designed to be an interesting and inspiring modern specification, suitable both for those for whom it is a final science qualification and also for those who require a sound foundation for further study. |
Noticeboard
6 October 2011 Edexcel IGCSEs will be referred to as International GCSEs from now on. 25 March 2011 UK state schools will be able to offer The Edexcel Certificates instead of International GCSEs. |
