International GCSE from 2003 | Mathematics
This page is for reference only, as the legacy International GCSE from 2003 specification is no longer suitable for teaching. It has been replaced by our updated International GCSE from 2009 specifications.

The International GCSE in Mathematics is designed as a two-year course to meet the needs of students of all abilities. The specification requires candidates to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding and skills in the following: number and algebra, shape, space and measures and handling data. This qualification is equivalent to Edexcel’s UK GCSE in Mathematics and provides a solid basis for AS and Advanced GCE, or comparable qualifications. |
Noticeboard
6 October 2011 Edexcel IGCSEs will be referred to as International GCSEs from now on. 25 March 2011 UK state schools will be able to offer The Edexcel Certificates instead of International GCSEs. |
