The International GCSE in Geography covers a range of physical and human issues on both a local and a global scale. Topics include the natural environment, resources and production, population and settlement, and the related areas of globalisation, human welfare, and sustainability. A key aspect of the course is studying geographical concepts and theories through investigative fieldwork, and not purely through classroom-based study. To succeed, it is vital that students have experience of practical skills - assessed either through Paper 03 or through coursework. |
