International GCSE from 2003 | Drama
These pages exist for reference only, as the legacy International GCSE from 2003 specifications are no longer suitable for teaching. They have been replaced by our updated International GCSE from 2009 specifications.

 IGCSE Drama

The International GCSE in Drama comprises two papers with a balance of practical and written work. For Paper 1, candidates can choose to be assessed in a devised or scripted performance or a support skill. They may create an original piece of drama, perform all or part of a scripted play, or support a performance through a theatre craft (sound, lighting, costume, masks/make-up or stage design). In Paper 2, the written exam, candidates will discuss their Paper 1 work, and a substantial play text they have studied.
