We're pleased to announce that The Edexcel Certificate Level 1/Level 2 in History (International GCSE for UK schools) has been accredited. The accredited specification and sample assessment materials are available below. 
 
The Edexcel Certificate in History will be available for teaching from September 2012, and first assessment will be June 2014.
 
The Edexcel Certificate in History aims to foster a knowledge and understanding of selected periods and/or aspects of history, exploring the significance of historical events, people, changes and issues. Teachers can choose the areas of study that suit their needs and resources from a list of topics that have defined content. The qualification is assessed via two terminal examinations and is graded A* to G. Read more
