Enhanced examiners' reports
We've had a re-think about what examiners' reports should be like. You want reports that give you the sort of information about previous exams that you need to help you understand why your candidates got the grades they did in the last exam, and how you can better prepare them for future exams.
So we have made sure that is exactly what you'll get. We will give you:
- An overview of each paper, including how candidates did as a whole, so you have some context for your own results
- A detailed question-by-question section, telling you what candidates did well and what they could have done better - so you can make changes, if you need to, to your detailed teaching plans
- Examples of actual answers with examiner comments, so you can see (and share with your students) exactly what gets the marks
- Examiner tips that you can pass on in your teaching to help avoid common mistakes.
The report for each paper will be written by the Principal Examiner for that paper - the person responsible for setting the paper and supervising the marking.
