Lionel Bolton - your English Subject Advisor

We have introduced a new Subject Advisor service to support all our English GCSE and A level qualifications. Led by the new Subject Advisor, Lionel Bolton, this service is designed to help solve your queries relating to our English qualifications and provide a means of sharing ideas, information and concerns.

The service also offers all teachers of English the opportunity to discuss and share English-related issues, such as what the new 2010 GCSE specifications have to offer.

Central to the service is our online English Community Forum which provides you with an opportunity to speak to other teachers, raise concerns and ask advice. Whether you have concerns about the new specifications or you want to know more about controlled assessment or set texts, you can use our English Community forum as a means to find out more. You can also read documents and use links that Lionel Bolton has posted.

If you are an existing Edexcel centre, you can use the site and the materials posted on it to help with your planning and teaching of our current English qualifications. You can also provide us with feedback as to how we can improve our qualifications, our support and our services.
