Stage 2 – Delivering controlled assessment ensures that your issues are addressed as and when they arise and that practical help is on hand when you need it.

Tasks available as early as possible to give you time to identify any queries you may have before setting the tasks. Tasks will be available to download from Edexcel Online from June 2009.

Stage 3 – Assessing controlled assessment ensures that you can mark each student’s assignments confidently and accurately.

Student exemplars with senior moderator commentary to explain the standard (or marks) achieved. You will have access to these exemplars by unit from the beginning of the academic year in which that unit is first assessed, so that you can mark with confidence. These will be made available on Edexcel Online.

Free online communities to help you mark with confidence. From the beginning of 2009, you can discuss marking with your peers in our online geography community. You will also be able to view a series of podcasts answering your FAQs.
