GCSE 2012 reforms: Supporting you every step of the way
We want to ensure that you have all the information and support you need to continue to teach our GCSE in Drama with confidence.
Take a look at the wide range of resources we offer for teaching and learning:
Edexcel training is designed to fit around you, with an option of face-to-face, online or customised training so you can choose where, when and how you want to be trained.
During the summer term, we'll be running free face-to-face events on the impact of GCSEs going linear on Drama.
To book your place or for more information about our training, please visit www.edexcel.com/training or contact us.
Your Subject Advisor
Whatever your query, our Drama Subject Advisor, Paul Webster, and his team are on hand to provide support and guidance.
To talk to a member of the team, call 0844 372 2191 or email TeachingPerformingArts@pearson.com.
Helping you plan and implement your Edexcel GCSE specification in a linear way
The course planner is designed to help you with long-term planning and provide guidance on how to structure the GCSE Drama course so that you're fully prepared to deliver the specification in a linear way.
Schemes of work
The schemes of work will help you with planning and delivery and give you guidance on how to structure the teaching of units, plus some useful ideas and activities linked to specific sections of the specification.
You’ll find these in the documents box on your qualification subject page, under the category ‘Teacher Support Materials’.
ResultsPlus is our free online service giving instant and detailed analysis of your students’ exam and mock performance – helping you to help your students more effectively.
Supporting you with the delivery and marking of controlled assessment
We're now providing even better support for controlled assessment. This includes information, resources and training to help you plan, run and mark controlled assessment with confidence.
For more information on the support available for GCSE Drama, contact a member of our team on 0844 372 2191 or email TeachingPerformingArts@pearson.com.
