More about our GCSE from 2009 in Drama
• The course encourages students to work imaginatively and creatively in a collaborative context, creating, developing and communicating ideas
• The specification has a clear, three-unit structure, with two units led and assessed by the teacher and a third assessed by an external examiner
• We have retained our free choice of stimulus material and play texts for all units, giving flexibility to choose the most appropriate texts and themes for students
• The final examination is performance-based rather than written. Marks are given to performance and practical ability, making this a very hands-on and realistic course.
