GCSE 2012 reforms: Impact on Business specification

GCSE Business resources.    The GCSE 2009 modular Business specification is available to download below, and has a final assessment window of June 2013.

The GCSE 2012 linear Business specification for first teaching in September 2012 (for two-year courses) is also available below. The main changes are:

  • No content change to the specification
  • Linear assessment structure: all exams are taken at the end of the course
  • Units only available in summer exam series
  • Controlled assessment conducted at any time but submitted at the end of the course.
