The GCSE 2009 modular Astronomy specification is available to download below, and has a final assessment window of June 2013.

The GCSE 2012 linear Astronomy specification for first teaching in September 2012 (for two-year courses) is also available below. The main changes are:

• New linear qualification for examination from June 2014
• No content change to the specification
• Linear assessment structure: exams are taken and controlled assessment submitted at the end of the course.
