Our GCSE from 2009 in Art and Design:

• encourages personal, creative and imaginative approaches to art and design
• has a two-unit structure, maximising choice and flexibility
• has no forbidden endorsement combinations
• allows students to work with both traditional and new media in all endorsements
• allows students to work solely with new media within any endorsement
• provides an assessment structure with a more accessible marking grid that is easy to apply
• prepares students for GCE AS and A level, BTEC Nationals and other art and design qualifications.
