Edexcel’s GCSE in Religious Studies (A) has been developed with an emphasis on religious and moral issues and on flexibility of unit combination. One unit constitutes a short course, while two units chosen from different modules make up a full course. Students may study a full issues-based course by combining a Religion and Life unit with the Religion and Society unit. Alternatively, a full course may be studied entirely from the point of view of either Christianity, Catholic Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism or Sikhism.
