Edexcel’s GCSE Statistics 1389, for teaching from September 2003, provides further choice in mathematics-related subjects for students at Key Stage 4 and beyond. The course aims to increase students’ awareness of the role accurate statistical representations, calculations, reasoning and interpretation can play in their lives. Assessment comprises one written exam paper, plus coursework. The final examination will be in summer 2010. |
