GCSE Mathematics (Linear): Feedback and Support Meeting (1380 and 1MA0)
 
These half-day (p.m.), face-to-face events are designed for both new and experienced teachers delivering the legacy and/or new GCSE linear mathematics specification(s).
 
This event is mainly intended to cover feedback for the June 2011 legacy linear (1380) examination papers. We will, however, also give you the opportunity to feed back observations and share best practice in the teaching of the new specification (1MA0).

Delegates will have the opportunity to:
 
• review candidates’ responses to the June 2011 linear (1380) examination papers
• consider the grade boundaries, awards and the overall qualification statistics
• review candidates' responses to the unit examinations of the new specification
• feed back their observations on teaching of the new specification and the examinations
• share good practice in the teaching of the qualification
• look at how ResultsPlus can be used for mock analysis and remediation
• address common issues and frequently asked questions.
 
This event can count as 2.5 hours of CPD.
