The Edexcel GCSE in Manufacturing (Double Award) comprises three units that provide students with opportunities to develop knowledge, understanding, and skills relevant to manufacturing. The GCSE covers the principles and processes underpinning the design and manufacture of products, as well as related systems and services, and applies them within an manufacturing context. Centres may choose contexts that are appropriate to their own situations and that represent the diversity of modern manufacturing.
