Edexcel’s English B (1204) GCSE offers lively and varied reading material in a pre-released anthology. A play by Shakespeare, poetry and prose are studied. Imaginative writing is given a high weighting as a coursework task, and students have the opportunity to study media – including the moving image - in coursework.
