The Edexcel GCSE in Engineering (Double Award) comprises three units that provide students with opportunities to develop knowledge, understanding, and skills relevant to engineering.
The GCSE covers the principles and processes underpinning the design and manufacture of engineered products, systems and services, and puts them into practice within an engineering context. Centres delivering the GCSE can choose contexts that are appropriate to their own situations and that represent the diversity of modern engineering.
