A motivating specification
From September 2008, we will offer one GCE Physics specification developed from the best of the current Edexcel and Salters Horners (SHAP) specifications. The new specification enables current, contemporary contexts to be included in the teaching and learning programme. It contains a realistic, manageable level of content and assessment and therefore provides an enjoyable teaching and learning experience.

A 100% examination option is available for all Edexcel international centres wishing to take GCE A level Sciences from 2008. Written examination papers are available in place of the coursework units (Units 3b and 6b) for the three specifications.
