Edexcel’s GCE English Language and Literature specification enables students to explore a broad variety of texts, including non-fiction, and relate them to the contexts in which they were produced. Students will learn to identify how meanings and effects are created and conveyed in texts, and will develop as independent, confident and reflective readers. They can write their own short story for coursework.
