Edexcel is the only awarding body to offer a GCE in Engineering. The specification is designed to give students an insight into different areas of engineering, helping them to build and apply their knowledge in practical and technological contexts through project-based study. 

The course has been developed to provide a broad educational basis for further training, further education or for moving into appropriate employment within the engineering sector. 

Students who complete the qualification will be well equipped to move on to degree courses, BTEC Higher National Diplomas or NVQs.
